Our Team
Our team are all highly qualified, experienced and passionate about providing the absolute best for your child. We regularly receive ongoing, relevant training to ensure that we are constantly developing our skills and knowledge. We hold the relevant Paediatric First Aid qualifications and receive regular training around Safeguarding/Child Protection, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.
Our Deputy Manager holds a Level 3 SENDCO qualification to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
All our team hold a up to date DBS and are signed up for the update service.

Vicky Shearer - Setting Manager

"I am the Setting Manager and SENCDO for preschool and have worked in childcare for 33 years and have a passion for Early Years Education. I have worked at preschool for 9 years. .
I have a level 3 Early Years Qualification, Elklan, speech, language and communication. NCFE Cache level 3 in Special Educational Needs coordinators in Early Years Settings Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). I have Paediatric First Aid, level 2 Food Safety, Wellcomm trained (to assess children to see if they have any speech and language difficulties). I have recently completed the National SENDCO qualification"

Volunteering with us
There are various ways that you can get involved in volunteering at Preschool, including things like baking, gardening, reading and playing with the children.

Volunteers will be required to complete a DBS check.
